Jumer’s Casino & Hotel to temporarily close at 11pm November 19
In response to the rapidly developing situation surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19) and our efforts to protect the health and safety of our guests and employees, Jumer’s Casino & Hotel is acting to comply with the direction of the Illinois Gaming Board to temporarily close its doors beginning at 11pm on Thursday, November 19, until further notice. All activities are canceled, including casino promotions and events.
We will be communicating as quickly as possible with our employees to assist them during this period. We thank them for their ongoing diligence and ability to adapt in a very fluid and unprecedented circumstance.
In the meantime, we are continuing to help protect against the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and help ensure guest and employee safety. We have taken and will continue taking actions to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus based on the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), including:
- Expanding sanitizing protocols and bolstering cleaning services throughout our venue.
- Placing hand sanitizer stations at locations across the property for use by guests and employees.
- Posting notifications for our employees reinforcing the importance of handwashing.
- Advising associates who feel sick to remain at home.
