The Yakuza Remastered Collection is not a simple port from one generation to another console. In addition to the improvements to graphics and performance (from 720p to 1080p and 30 fps to 60 fps), the three games have also undergone a new process of adaptation. The script in English of every game has been revised, corrected and even rewritten in some cases, and all of the content that was previously cut from the western versions of Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 were added in The Yakuza Remastered Collection.

This means that in Yakuza 3 mini-games of mahjong, shogi, massage treatments, a popular cabaret, as well as some sub-quests cut from the original version, are now available in the west for the first time!

They were also made many general improvements to each game in the collection, such as the inclusion of a tracker that highlights the sottoquest on the map, and the ability to switch from English text to the japanese during the karaoke.

The Yakuza Remastered Collection is available now at a price of $ 59.99 u.s. and include Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5, previously available only on the PlayStation®3, in a remastered version in 1080p 60 fps.

Yakuza 3 is available for download and can be played immediately after purchasing the collection, while Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 will be available, respectively, on the 29th of October 2019 11 February 2020.
